kThe new cross above the altar in the sanctuary was designed by artist Dennis Brickel of Cullman, Al. The wood cross is American black walnut. The wood rays are maple. The vines are hand cast bronze and the doves are hand carved Italian alabaster.

Welcome to the Austinville United Methodist Church website. We hope this site will help you learn more about us and our witness for Christ.  We hope you will explore this site and learn about us and our desire to offer Christ.  We believe that if we do good deeds it will give us the chance to create good will and then hopefully let us share the good news of Christ. We are trying our best to grow in the faith and we want to invite and encourage others to join us in this journey.  We have been here since 1898 and we expect to be a beacon of light and hope for Christ in 2098.
